  • While out of pocket costs are important to consider, professional counseling and psychotherapy is an investment in yourself. Like any investment, it is important for you to determine the right person to work with. You might want to consider if your therapist matches your ideology, if they are able to work with your needs, and whether the cost of treatment is something you can afford. It is an opportunity to make yourself a priority.
